Kansas City, MO is one of the top 10 hottest markets for real estate, according to NextAdvisor. The population has increased 7% in the last 12 years, partly due to its affordable cost of living and a wide variety of opportunities for workers in multiple industries. It only made sense for the Fund That Flip crew to stop by and visit our territory manager, Nyja Calloway, and one of his new borrowers Lindsey Morrison, to see what all the hype is about.

Lindsey is a real estate agent with the Rob Ellerman Team at ReeceNichols who dreams about creating wealth and success in real estate investing. We caught up with her at the site of her first official flip, where she talked more about her long-term goals and how she met Nyja.  Lindsey: I started getting into real estate about six years ago, and I absolutely loved it. My business partner was working with these investors out of Arizona, and she was seeing them wholesale all these properties, and so she came to me and said, "is this something that you would like to do?" I said, "absolutely!"
 
Lindsey: Going into this was our first one on our own, and we had met another lender. It was not good, it made us so nervous, and so we were skeptical on if we were gonna purchase this house or not; and somebody had recommended that we talked to Nyja at Fund That Flip.
 
Nyja: So Lindsey, talk to me a little bit about you doing this flip. What does it mean for you and your family?
 
Lindsey: I'm a single mom, and I just wanted flexibility so I could still run her to and from school and I wanted to show her that even as a single mom we could live a fabulous life.

Lindsey: Whenever we walked into this house, we just saw so much potential, just envisioning a cute new family owning this house. Then you don't want to stop! The thing that makes me so happy about flipping houses is coming in here and seeing all the progress every single day. There is so much I've learned through this process, it is so important to have good relationships and a good team behind you.
 
Lindsey: I called Nyja and fell in love with him immediately, ever since then we have just felt so comfortable. That's why we have loved Fund That Flip so much because they've made everything so easy. We envision and have all of these crazy dreams about where we will be in the next five years, ten years... and honestly I think it's because Fund That Flip has made this process so easy and enjoyable.
